Special Issue of Computer Graphics International (CGI2022) Conference——“Metaverse” Special Session

The International Conference Computer Graphics International (CGI) was first established in 1983 by Professor Tosiyasu L. Kunii from Japan. CGI is one of the longest mainstream international academic conferences in the field of virtual reality and computer graphics, and is also strongly recommended by the China Computer Federation (CCF). The conference provides academia and industry in the field of graphics with more cutting-edge technological developments, more diverse exchange activities, and a more comprehensive industry publicity platform, so as to widely promote academic sharing and exchanges, industrial cooperation and interaction, and promote industry-university-research Linked development, improve the research and application level of graphics technology in the world.

Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware (VRIH) is managed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, sponsored by China Science and Technology Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. (Science Press), Beihang University, published by Beijing Zhongke Journal Publishing Co., Ltd. Published, and co-organized by Goertek Group Co., Ltd. Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware is a professional academic journal edited by Professor Yongtian Wang from Beijing Institute of Technology, bimonthly The journal aims to provide an academic exchange platform for the virtual reality and intelligent hardware projects and scientific research achievements of global researchers, and advocate the two-way transformation of research results between laboratories and practical applications.

After the discussion by the CGI2022 Organizing Committee and the Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware editorial board, it is planned to open a special session on "Metaverse" at this CGI2022 conference. The high-quality papers in related areas will be submitted to the above-mentioned special session of the CGI 2022 conference. After the peer-review of CGI conferenced, accepted papers will be recognized as the CGI 2022 conference paper publications, and these papers published in full as "Special Issue of CGI 2022 Conference- Special Session: Metaverse" in the October 2022 issue of Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardwar. Experts, scholars, young students and professional and technical personnel are now welcomed to submit the original manuscripts related to digital human technology to present the latest achievements. The special session of CGI 2022/special issue of VRIH call for papers that include but are not limited to the following research fields: virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, computer graphics technology, computer vision technology, immersive analysis and visualization technology.


Call for Papers

·         The paper should belong to the author's scientific research results, its data should be authentic and reliable, and has important academic value and promotion and application value. The submitted papers should be original and have not been published elsewhere. Multiple submissions are not allowed.
